This previously unreleased radio broadcast was taped live during the Elevators' Farewell Performance. Their last to their audience right before the band moved to San Francisco.

Television、Primal Screamなど非常に多くのバンドにカバーされる、数有るサイケバンドの中でも唯一無二である彼らの名盤1st "The Psychedelic Sounds Of The 13th Floor"からのアウトテイク＆地元テキサスにて、SFに移住前のお別れライヴ。熱心なファンでは無いが何故か結構所有しているオレなので、あえて安いカット盤を買った記憶有り。何故エレクトリック・ジャグなのか、といつも思う。

ラストツアーからのブートレグ（LP2枚組）。しかも此れがラストライヴとの噂もあるが確認できず。

似たような内容のCDも多数リリースされているが此のビニール盤が最初のリリース。ペラペラのジャケットがいかにもブートだが、内容は言うまでも無い。

今回、ジャケットに記載されてるSide Dの曲名と曲順がどう聴いても間違っているので修正したが、D1とD2は他に音源を所有していないので不確定。D1は"Poor Circulation"が正しいらしい。

The Frippertonics loop for B1 is the first piece performed at Calgary Planetarium, August 8th 1979.

The Frippertronics for B2 is the second piece, first house, at Madame Wong's, Los Angeles, July 25th 1979.

Buster Jones and Paul Duskin played alongside these loops in September and Absalm el Habib gave voice during December 1979.

The solo guitar part to "Signified" is manual repetition in comparison with technological repetition of the Frippertronics and is the complete second take. The first take broke down after 6 1/2 minutes.

"God Save The King"にタイトル曲が収録されているが、本アルバムでのCDリリースは無い。上部ジャケはシングルジャケットの表裏をつなげて見たのだが、内容そして本盤の存在と共に不思議なレイアウトになっている。適当でも此の様にはならない。

本盤の内容については此方のサイトが為になるが、リリース時の評価に比べて内容は全く悪くない。特に"Side One"は、Absalm el Habib名義の"David Byrne"が参加（B1）で、Enoでは無くFrippプロデュースのTalking Headsが垣間見れ、B2では「正にディシプリンの賜物プレイ！」がスゴすぎる。

ソロ時代はCBGBでの"Blondie"を始め様々なバンドの前座から、バンド"Walter Steding and the Dragon People"を経て、Andy Warholのアシスタントやマネージャー、さらに画家としての一面もあるらしい彼の1st Albumは"Blondie"のChris Steinがプロデュース。イカスジャケットと程遠い中途半端な出来が何とも味わい深い。ニューヨーカーはこーゆーカバーやりたがるよな、のA4、A5も微妙な上に、当時N.Y.に住んでいたRobert Frippも全くらしくない出来なのは彼のダークサイドの成せる技か。有名所に好かれたナイーヴさが良くも悪くも良い人なんだと思う。

以前アップした"Dry Dreams / The Jim Carroll Band"に参加。バスキアの映画"DOWNTOWN81(2000)"出演。監督はジャケ写フォトグラファーと同人物か。

此のリリース前のライヴ音源。此れ1枚のみのリリース故にほとんどの曲名が不明である。

音やスタイルと時期は紛れもないポストパンクだが、何処かジャズな匂いをも感じさせる佇まい。シンプルなカオスとでも言おうか。此のバンドを今、ダブで聴きたいと強く思う。

4曲目途中で録れてしまった注文「◯◯さん、コーラ！」はカウンター付近で録音のため。惜しい。

Chance Operation, Concretes, Corina Corrinaの東京勢3組が「3C Tokyo Pack Gig」と題し、札幌勢2組と地元で行ったライヴ音源。5.の曲名が不明だがゲストも相まって最高。今思えば先のTsunematsu Masatoshi、Para - Phraseの一週間前か。待望のチャンオペCDリリースが延期（発売日未定）になって残念此の上無い。

個人的に演劇寄りのアプローチがダメで当時は熱心なファンでは無かったが、シングルのジャケット写真はいつも格好良くてつい買った一枚。ゴスと呼ばれて久しい彼らだが、本盤は其のイメージなど感じさせないニューウェイヴ（笑）な音。B面背後でリズムボックスが刻むジョルジオ･モロダー風ビートが気持ちイイ。

日本コロンビア「Shan-Shan」レーベル（確か12 inch 45r.p.m専門レーベル）のオムニバスEP。"Lyuichi"表記が懐かしい坂本氏と渡辺氏のA1「東京ジョー（B. Ferry）」がレアだが、1979年にBetter Daysから渡辺氏名義で7 inch Single、1997年にコロンビアから二人名義のコンピCDに収録。なおノンクレジットだが小原礼(bass) 、高橋ユキヒロ(drums) 、ペッカー(percussion) 、浜口茂外也(percussion）が参加の模様。

A2: Lizzy Mercier Descloux曲は未発表でZE Recordsからの2nd”Mambo Nassau”の頃か。

先にUPした「Case Of Telegraph: Product 1」の続き。未所有だったがブログを見た友人から連絡が有り譲り受ける。先に述べた札幌勢二組が嬉しいが、矢張り"EP-4"が目玉か。佐藤薫と川島バナナの「unit 3」なのがチョイ残念だが、開催予定だった「CASE OF TELEGRAPH 2011」に代わり4月2日（土）に急遽行われる「CASE OF TELEGRAPH extra」までの繋ぎとして楽しんで欲しいと思う。個人的には札幌税の他に"すきすきスウィッチ"が興味深い。オレの学生時代、北海道公演を行っていた舞踏家: 田中泯の打ち上げで、同行してきた佐藤幸雄氏とした音楽談義が懐かしい。
