"In May 1997 Lo Recordings received a DAT tape containing 30 different one-minute guitar pieces by Thurston Moore. Each piece was copied onto individual tapes and packaged in custom designed vaccum cleaner bags. One hundred bags were sent out to a selection of visual artists and musicans, inviting them to create a brand new work utilising the original piece as a starting point.
This CD contains 25 of the musical contributions plus a selection of images from The Root Exhibition - Held at Chisenhale Gallery and organized by Lo Recordings in association with commercial too."
Notes: Numbered edition of 2000. CD and booklet packaged in a hoover bag, sealed in an outer protective cover.

CDは通常盤と限定版（25曲）、アナログは12インチの5枚組（38曲）で、本盤はCD限定版。CDとブックレットが掃除機の交換用紙バッグに入っている。
