1975年結成から間もなく録音されたスタジオレコーディング。語られる事が少ないがデビューはピストルズと同年。従ってAfter PunkやPost Punkでは無く間違いなくPunkであるという事実も、其の後彼らがポピュラーミュージック（＝ロック）と其れによるコミュニケーションまでも変革した事実と比べるとさして重要では無い。

この手のジャケットを見て思い出すのは、「DOLL」「宝島」｢ニューミュージックマガジン」てところでしょうか。２１世紀には、｢音楽雑誌」なんて必要ないんでしょうかね。それでも「宝島」の世渡りの上手さには、学ぶべきところが大きいです。
